Next Step – The Next Step Program is a three-tiered program designed as a feeder system in which the children are systematically trained to imagine a future in a trade, college and ultimately in business:

Next-Step Tots is the entry-level component designed for youth aged 7-11.

This program introduces children the concept of chores, responsibility, accountability and the work to reward philosophy, etc.

Next-Step Junior Achievers is the mid-level component designed for youth aged 12-14.

This program focuses on understanding the value of teamwork via a small business enterprise. The children will write, edit, illustrate, market and sell childrens books.

Through this vehicle, they will learn that each component is vital to the overall success of the enterprise.

Next-Step Seniors is the final component in the Next-Step Trilogy and is designed for youth aged 15-17.

This program focuses on language and cultural skills training, career exploration, leadership development, resume preparations, community activism and volunteerism, employment readiness skills, computer skills and job interview skills training.

It is at this point that we offer paid summer internships that are in concert with the longer term career aspirations of the youth.
